How it works
The degasser draws a small part of the system water into a vessel and pulls a vacuum, so dissolved air comes out of solution and is vented. Flamco's vacuum units measure system pressure and temperature to degas only when needed without boiling the water. The pressurization side tops up make-up water automatically to hold minimum system pressure as the loop expands, contracts or loses water.
Role in the system
- 1.Removes dissolved and micro-bubble air that causes corrosion, noise and pump cavitation
- 2.Holds static pressure so high points of the loop never go negative
- 3.Automatic make-up with monitoring, so a leak shows up as abnormal top-up
