How it works
Water slows down inside the separator body, where an internal element lets micro-bubbles coalesce and rise to an automatic air vent at the top, while heavier particles settle into a collection chamber that is blown down through the drain valve. It is installed in the main flow, usually on the return or where water is warmest and pressure lowest.
Role in the system
- 1.Treats the full flow, not a side stream
- 2.Protects pumps, valves and coils from trapped air and debris
- 3.Complements the degasser, which handles dissolved gas
